Frisco’s watering rules, and why turf changes the math
Frisco runs a year-round watering calendar. Sprinkler irrigation is limited to twice a week in summer (June 1 to August 31), once a week in fall (September 1 to October 31), and turf may not be watered by spray or rotor at all from November 1 to March 31. Automatic irrigation is not permitted between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. A first violation carries a $100 fee for a residential account. Hand-held hoses, soaker hoses, drip and bubblers may still be used when needed.

Every install starts the same way: excavation 3-4 inches deep, Class II road base with decomposed granite, drainage, a commercial-grade weed barrier, then the turf cut to fit and finished with infill and power-brushing.
