What both share
Both Tour Master Pro surfaces run a 0.63 in low-profile pile and a grain-neutral construction, so the ball rolls the same in every direction. That is the whole point of a putting turf: on a directional pile the ball breaks with the grain and the green plays differently uphill and down. Both are built for tournament-level residential greens, commercial putting facilities and high-traffic practice areas.
Tour Master Pro (Poly)
A textured polyethylene fiber at 58 oz face weight and 85 oz total weight. The texture is what gives the grain-neutral roll. It takes a fine silica sand infill at a high ballast rate, 2.5 to 3 lbs of 30/50 mesh, and the infill depth is one of the ways the speed of the green is set: it is the specific silica sand for controlled ball-roll speed that our services page describes.
Tour Master Pro (Nylon)
A tournament-grade performance nylon at the same 0.63 in pile, with a grain-neutral construction for a true roll in every direction, and a 15-year material warranty. Nylon is the fiber used where the surface has to hold its speed under heavy, repeated use.
How to choose
Tell us how the green will be used. A practice green that takes daily chipping and a family that wants to putt on weekends are different briefs, and the fiber, the infill rate and the contour all follow from that.
