Why Turf

Green all year, zero water

A commercial lawn is watered, mown and re-seeded on a schedule whether anyone is looking at it or not. Turf removes that schedule. These are the four reasons that matter most for a property, stated the way we state them everywhere else on this site.

Zero water

With strict local ordinances and tiered water rates, artificial turf offers a zero-water solution. A typical 1,800-square-foot lawn can save approximately 99,000 gallons of water annually, potentially reducing water bills by 70%.

Built for the Texas sun

We exclusively install heavyweight (50oz-111oz) UV-stabilized turf designed to withstand the harsh Texas sun without fading or melting.

Spec weight, not marketing

Spec weight is the single most reliable proxy for long-term performance on both commercial and residential installs. Every line we install is listed with its face weight, total weight and pile height on our turf range page.

The same in every season

Artificial turf keeps a pristine, green appearance year-round, regardless of drought or heat.

Applications

Suited to the places grass struggles

The same materials and base construction we use on homes are suited to commercial grounds. Tell us about the site and we will say plainly whether turf is the right surface for it.

Grounds and common areas

Office landscaping, HOA common areas, multifamily courtyards, hospitality grounds

Areas that are seen every day and have to look the same in August as they do in April. The lawn lines, Estate 84, The Reserve and Signature 50, are the fit here.

Play areas

Playgrounds

High face-weight turf with shock-absorbing underlays and safety infills for impact protection.

Putting and practice surfaces

Tour Master Pro

Built for tournament-level residential greens, commercial putting facilities and high-traffic practice areas, with a 0.63 in grain-neutral pile so the ball rolls the same in every direction.

Dog runs and pet relief areas

K9 Guard Ultra

A full flow-through backing rather than punched holes, with a three-layer ZeoFill and Envirofill system on top, for multifamily and hospitality properties that welcome dogs.

The Process

The same base under every install

Turf is only as good as what is underneath it. These six steps are how we build every installation, residential or commercial.

01

Excavation

Remove vegetation and debris, digging 3-4 inches deep to establish the proper structural depth for the Texas climate.

02

Base construction

Install Class II road base with decomposed granite (DG) to create a concrete-hard, permeable surface.

03

Drainage

Manage utility lines, install collection systems, and place conduit sleeves for future needs, ensuring water flows away from the building foundation.

04

Weed prevention

Install commercial-grade heavy duty weed barrier to separate the native soil from the base and prevent vegetative growth.

05

Placement and custom fitting

Unrolling the turf to acclimate to the Texas climate, followed by precision cutting around hardscaping, trees, and borders for a flawless, edge-to-edge fit.

06

Premium infill and finishing

Applying specialized infill, like antimicrobial odor-control for pet areas or fine silica for putting greens, and power-brushing the fibers to stand perfectly upright.

After the install

Maintenance and repair

Our maintenance packages cover deep cleaning, power brooming, re-infilling, seam repairs and weed management. Regular care prevents costly repairs.

Next Step

Tell us about the property

The size of the area, how it is used, and where the water goes today. We will come out, measure, and tell you which turf we would put down and why, or tell you honestly if turf is not the right surface for it.
