Keller’s watering rules, and why turf changes the math
Keller keeps a twice-a-week lawn watering schedule year-round. Residential addresses ending in an even number water on Wednesdays and Saturdays, addresses ending in an odd number on Thursdays and Sundays, and non-residential locations such as apartment complexes, businesses, parks and medians on Tuesdays and Fridays. There is no outdoor watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., even on allowed days, and no watering on Mondays. The restrictions apply to automatic irrigation; hand-held hose watering, and locations irrigating with well water or treated wastewater, are not restricted.
